Starting with a discussion about how you'd like to use your yard, we can create a landscape design for your outdoor space that fits your aesthetic and lifestyle. Landscape design plans are offered in black and white, color plans, 2-d hand drawn or digital plans. Detailed plans include a list of plants in the plan and photo references for easy identification and visualization.

Stormwater Management Best Practices

CBLP* Certified in design and installation stormwater best practice remediations, including gutter disconnects, green roofs, raingardens, bioswales and more.

Inspection Services and Landscape Design Plan Review

Review of existing or new landscape plans. Inspection of Installed Stormwater Management Systems, green roofs and adherence to current county and state design guidelines.

I don't know where or how to start. What do I do?

The best place to start is with a phone call or email. We can discuss the best way to get you started, and set up time for a garden consult. From there we can work together on an approach that fits your needs.

Who will work on my landscape?

The only people who will work on your landscape design project are Charm City Landscapes employees or select licensed sub-contractors who specialize in garden maintenance and landscaping, depending on the work requested.

What type of landscape work do you provide?

We provide garden, hardscape, and xeriscape landscape design services. We incorporate native plantings in garden designs that are pleasing and supportive of the local area ecology.

We do not incorporate invasive species into garden designs and can recommend alternatives that will provide similar aesthetics if needed.

We know what we want done, but we don't have the time to manage all of it. Can you help us manage the work?

It is almost impossible to find one company to do everything you want done in your landscape design, garden maintenance, and construction projects. Many homeowners don't have time to juggle multiple contractors. We can provide construction consulting and project management services for larger renovations of your landscape. An additional fee is applied for project management.

Can you help with container gardens and window boxes?

We are able to assist with window box plant selections, plantings and maintenance that complement your garden landscaping.

What type of plans can you provide?

After our consultation, we work collaboratively with you through the landscape design process and provide you with Site and Planting plans that reflect the designs. We can also provide irrigation plans, if requested.

We plan to sell our home. Can you help us get our backyard ready?

A well maintained landscape can help enhance the market value of a home and reduce the time a home is on the market. We can help you plan a backyard that will enhance a home and not overwhelm it. We can also help with identifying those things in the landscape design that may be deterrents to new home buyers.
