THE PROCESS

The design process is a collaborative engagement between you and our design team.  Depending on the complexities of the design and project, a typical row house design project can range from $1,500 to $2,500.  The more complex the design or the larger the property, the higher the design project could be.

The initial site plan is a scale drawing of the property.  It shows the current landscape conditions, existing plants and structures, waterways, and other elements that may impact the overall design.  

This plan is compared with online mapping and GIS maps from governing agencies to assure there are no restrictions or considerations in the design process.  

The conceptual plan is a scale high-level drawing incorporating the different landscape elements discussed (e.g. hardscapes, plants, trees, water conservation practices). 

This will emphasize the use of space, water abatement and conservation practices, and how plan addresses your needs.

The final plan includes a detailed installation plan of both hardscape and softscape materials.  The final  design will have a materials list, bloom and seasonal interest schedules, and a maintenance plan for the installed design.  Photos of the materials, plants, trees and shrubs will accompany the plan.

A cost estimate of the installation and materials is provided for budget and planning purposes.
